Brenda worked for the Court of Appeals for the Supreme Court of Justice in Mexico. There she gained experience with criminal, labor, and commercial law.
As a lawyer with a law firm in Mexico, she worked in taxation and corporate law, and supervised anti-money-laundering legislation.
Brenda also developed a program called “Conciencia Ciudadana” in Mexico. The program served youth with the aim of instilling social values and a passion for human rights.
